No. Dovercourt is not accepting applications at this time. This site will be updated when the next information session is available.
Dovercourt has two-, three- and four-bedroom semi-detached townhomes. Each has a fenced backyard, basement, washer and dryer hookups, and at least one parking space.
The application process generally takes about one to three months, from submitting an application with credit-check payment through approval and notification that you have been placed on the waiting list.
Two or three Membership Committee members ask applicants about their understanding of co-op living and whether they would contribute to the community. It is also a chance to ask questions and get to know Dovercourt better.
Approved applicants are contacted in waiting-list order when a suitable home becomes available. Applicants may decline two offers before being removed from the list and generally receive about 60 to 69 days' notice before moving in.
Members contribute at least four hours of volunteer labour each month, usually through a committee or the Board of Directors. Members also attend general and special meetings.
No subsidized spaces are currently available.
